Creating Art as a Family since 2007
An exploration in texture, space and pattern.
Robertsen & Lydia Ashman are a husband-wife creative duo based in Utah. Their complementary visions channel memory, emotion, and the poetry of place through shared color theory and creative synergy.
Lydia is a contemporary artist exploring intersections of memory, emotion, and everyday ritual through rich watercolor and ink pen works. Her intimate visual narratives of nature and graphic scapes blend delicate washes with precise line work. Viewers are invited to slow down and look closer. From her Utah studio, she shares her evolving practice through online galleries and social platforms, connecting with collectors worldwide.
Robertsen is a film and digital photographer capturing intimate street scenes, travel moments, and nature with a raw, analog aesthetic. He approaches landscapes like street photography to reveal candid beauty in the wild. From his home studio, he offers fine art archival prints that offer photography enthusiasts a tangible piece of his art.
United by mutual passion for marriage and family, their distinct mediums harmonize by celebrating nature's organic flow alongside precise compositions in limited-edition prints and originals.
Robertsen and Lydia have 2 children, Beckett and Seneca who also love pursuing art. They have lived in Seattle, Phoenix and Lehi. Robertsen works in tech sales and Lydia is a stay at home mom. Their art is a passion project that they love sharing with those who enjoy it.
